Frers Naval Architecture and Engineering began in 1925, founded by German Frers Sr. who designed numerous yachts for South American clients. In 1970 the company was taken over by his son, German Frers, with the third generation, German ‘Mani’ Frers, joining the company in 1992; over 1,300 designs have been produced in the company’s history. The company is largely known for designing high-performance sailing yachts.

German Frers-designed yachts are known for their racing prowess, with many of the designs to come from the studio winning prizes and races all over the world. Yachts designed by German Frers are characterized by sturdy construction, elegant lines, and excellent performance. The company has a wealth of experience and has worked with many notable shipyards such as CNB and Nautor’s Swan.
