Giorgio Maria Cassetta is an Italian superyacht designer. Cassetta founded his Rome-based studio in 2013, after studying under the tutelage of Gianni Zuccon, the founder of the Zuccon International Project. Cassetta has designed more than 30 yachts ranging from eight to over 100 meters.
Since founding his firm seven years ago, Cassetta’s most notable work has involved the design of mega yachts produced in collaboration with the Benetti shipyard. This includes the 107-meter Luminosity, 63-meter Metis, and also the 69-meter Spectre, which was delivered as the ninth James Bond-inspired superyacht for owner John Staluppi. Cassetta’s signature style includes a long and sharp vertical bow and an extended superstructure.
