LOON is a 67.50 m luxury motor yacht, renowned as one of the most famous and well-marketed yachts in the world. Designed for comfort and long-range cruising, it features six decks and seven staterooms, offering an unparalleled yachting experience. The yacht’s sleek exterior, crafted by Redman Whiteley Dixon Design, complements its refined interior by Studio Linse, blending sophistication with functionality. One of its standout features is the owner’s suite, which spans two decks and includes a private lounge/office and a sunbathing area. This suite can also be converted into an 8th VIP stateroom, providing flexibility for guests.
To enhance onboard comfort, LOON boasts an expansive beach club, made possible by a 5m hull extension in 2014, offering direct water access and a luxurious relaxation space. Guests can also enjoy a 7.5m x 3.5m saltwater/freshwater pool, surrounded by sunbeds. The yacht accommodates up to 13 guests in seven staterooms, with four lower-deck cabins that can convert from queen to twin beds, ensuring versatility. Additionally, a tender garage houses three tenders, three jet skis, and various water toys, maximizing deck space and entertainment options.
Performance-wise, LOON is powered by two MTU 12V-4000-M71 engines, providing an impressive 6,000-nautical-mile range at 12.5 knots. It is built for smooth and stable cruising with Quantum zero-speed stabilizers, a steel hull, and an aluminum superstructure coated with Awlcraft paint. Designed as a full-displacement oceangoing vessel, it ensures durability and efficiency. In 2024, three Scania generators were rebuilt and fitted with low-emission HUG filters, improving sustainability and operational performance.
LOON is also equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and entertainment systems. The bridge features a full ECDIS Transas 4000 paperless system, Furuno radar, AIS, satellite, and GSM phone systems. For onboard entertainment, guests can enjoy Apple TV, Bang & Olufsen surround sound, Samsung 8K QLED TV, and Starlink Wi-Fi for seamless connectivity.
