HOW TO CHOOSE

SAIL OR MOTOR?

Motor yachts far exceed sailing yachts on the charter market, and typically have more space for amenities such as Jacuzzis, swimming pools, toys and larger tenders. Layout varies, but in accordance with maritime law, most motor yachts will sleep a maximum of 12 guests. Larger yachts meeting the SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) requirements can accommodate more.

Sailing yachts feature many of the same modern and luxurious amenities as motor yachts, although will have less interior space compared to a motor yacht of the same size. However, gliding quietly through the ocean powered only by the force of the wind is an unparalleled experience, unique to sailing.

SEASONS

The summer season runs from late April / early May until the end of October. Destinations tend to be primarilty in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the South Pacific.

The winter season runs from October to April, and yachts are mainly chartered in the Caribbean, British Virgin Islands and the Indian Ocean.

High and low season occur in both in summer and winter, with pricing catergorised as peak and off-peak respectively. Prices are higher during high season, but yachts also book up more quickly, therefore we always advise clients to book as early as possible.
