Founded by Italian entrepreneur Luca Bassani in 1994, Wally started out with sailing boats and then branched out into designing motor yachts, including the 118 WallyPower.

Wally launched sailing yachts ranging from the Wallynano 37 feet (11 m) daysailer to the 166 feet (51 m) flybridge carbon fiber sloop Better Place.

Wally is known for being a pioneer of carbon fiber as a yacht-building material.

World leader in yachting innovation, Wally combines the latest technology with contemporary design, constantly looking at ways of improving on-the-water enjoyment with performance, comfort, and style.

Since its inception in 1994, the Monegasque brand has launched yachts that still are unmatched, while has continuously innovated the products through an intensive and unique research and development program. In 2019 Wally became part of the Ferretti Group.

Wally is the only yachting brand two-time winner of the Compasso d’oro (in 2004 and in 2008), the world’s most important award for quality and design.

The Wally Class is the division of racing Wallys, offering a sporting variation to the cruising program: a high-tech, high-performance, high-competitive environment with a unique Corinthian spirit, offering as much fun on land as on sea. The Wally Class season stages four regattas in the Mediterranean glamorous locations, with the successful Pro-Am formula where owners at the helm are assisted by the world’s greatest sailing talents from America’s Cup, Olympic, and VOR teams.

Wally has launched over 45 sail yachts and over 120 power boats since 2019. There are a select few yacht makers that build boats that look like absolutely nothing else on the water and Wally is one of those makers.

Wally’s headquarter is in Monaco, production facilities are in Fano, Italy.
